I’m leaving in three days. Seriously want to get in another snorkel and try to improve my pics. The rest of the week’s weather looks bad. It’s windy and some rain. When it’s windy and overcast, and little sunlight, the water isn’t so clear and everything looks blue-green. But it’s my last chance to capture beautiful sights in the ocean.

A new pier for this season.

Captain Auturo, I was the only one today.

This afternoon, Rumi and Lina are leaving to go back to Japan. This morning they are going to the Crocko Zoo. My daughter went there a few years ago and Loved it.
I went snorkeling today. I looked at the weather for this week, as I am leaving Saturday. This day seemed the best relativity, with low wind.

My snorkel buddies for today are from Toronto, Canada. Still not optimal conditions, especially for photos.

The above fish are huge, unable to tell in this photo

INTO THE OCEAN
It was not a good day for snorkel, very windy. My friends are leaving soon and there are many things they want to do.

A turtle swam by. I kinda followed it for more pictures. It’s the first time I have seen a sea turtle in this part of the ocean.

And away the turtle went

Saw the turtle once more.

Nothing was as spectacular as the sea tutle

Barracuda

Arrived last into Puerto Morelos. Its wonderful to be back. I am joined this year by two couples.
Denise and Mike, long term friends, it’s they’re first time to visit. Nest week, Rumi and Lena will join me from Japan.

The white area is dead coral. The coral reefs are dying all around the world.
