Snorkel

This afternoon, Rumi and Lina are leaving to go back to Japan. This morning they are going to the Crocko Zoo. My daughter went there a few years ago and Loved it.

I went snorkeling today. I looked at the weather for this week, as I am leaving Saturday. This day seemed the best relativity, with low wind.

Our captain

My snorkel buddies for today are from Toronto, Canada. Still not optimal conditions, especially for photos.

The above fish are huge, unable to tell in this photo

A Day at the Beach

Denise and Mike Tenney left this morning. The three of us left are going to the beach. The Tenneys found a new beach club, closer then MY PARADISE beach club the one I usually go to.

Had lunch on the beach. Had shrimp tacos. Lina had pizza, was surprisingly good.

A turtle swam by. I kinda followed it for more pictures. It’s the first time I have seen a sea turtle in this part of the ocean.

And away the turtle went

Saw the turtle once more.

Nothing was as spectacular as the sea tutle

Visit Zapote Cenote

Cenotes are underground rivers of fresh water. Some are open like a pond, other cenotes are a river in a cave. They were used my the ancient Mayans for a fresh water source and for religious ceremony.

Open type of cenote

The company that took us to Cenote Zapote was a tour company named Eclipse Adventures. The owners are Abril and Shianne. They were excellent guides!

Jumping into cenote from platform.

Shirlee made a friend of a dragon fly. It would leave her hand, fly a short distance from her and return to her hand.

Zip line into Cenote. Ksaey went first, then Shirlee (above), then me, Ann.

The big splash, by Shirlee

I’m next!
