Arrival of Donna and Snorkel

It’s supposed to rain all week that Donna is here. She arrived into PM from the airport. we got our gear and headed to the pier to meet Capt. Joaquin. Off to the coral reef!

It rained all morning. The visibility in the water isn’t too good, things are a bit stirred up. But the sights are still beautiful, if just a little cloudy.

Snorkeling companions
On this boat with Donna and I are three handsome guys from France. Also a lovely family from Brooklyn, NY, who believes in taking your kids traveling around the world.

Gearing up for the big splashes into the ocean.

Two anemones in the sand.

The soft corals, look like trees, are really healthy looking.

The hard corals grow slower and are more endangered. There was a time when you could see fields of this elk-horn coral, now its solitary specimens.

Looks like a heart.
