It’s a lovely hot day to cool off in the fresh water Cenotes, underground river. Our previous cab driver took us, picked up us at Casa Velero, drove us there, waited 2 hrs, and brought us back.
The entrance looks a little intimidating, but it worth is when you enter.
That’s me, up by the cliff rails, heading to jump offLooks really high from aboveTaking the big jump!Frances is jumpingLinda (75 yrs old) taking a closer look to determine if she will jump? There’s her splash! And swimming away!A little sisterly advice.Took pics with Alejandro, a peacock came to bid farewellOn the way back, we stopped for “To Go” grilled chicken place from your food tour called “Sinaloa Pollo”. It’s marinated in lime and spices. Delicious! One half of a chicken, with rice, pickled onions, tortillas, and sauces is only $3.50 US. We took it back to Puerto Morelos and ate it by the pool. Soooo good! We also bought some for Alejandro and family. He took really good care of us!
