This morning, the plan is to go to YAL KU a snorkeling place in Akumal, south of Playa del Carmen. Admittedly, I am dragging a bit. How I love vacation. Just how much beauty, fun, enjoyment, can one person take?

YAL KU is a rock spring with an outlet to the ocean. It is clear, cool with lots of tropical fish. There are private palapas (thached roof cabana) for rent. Our group secured one for a long relaxing day of snorkeling.with a picnic.

Yal Ku was nestled in lush tropical grounds, with interesting sculptures strategically placed for interesting visual impact.
